HOW IT WORKS
Our utensils are designed to safely nurture independence in little ones ready to meet their self-feeding developmental milestone. Our patented fork and spoon sets were the first utensils designed with babies’ independence in mind, and they come highly recommended by Occupational Therapists. The ergonomic handle fits comfortably in babies' natural hand grasp, making the hand-to-mouth motion easier! Using this set will also help strengthen their fingers while encouraging proper pencil grasp development (this will come in handy later!).
HOW TO USE
Help your little one position the handle in the center of their palm for a vertical grasp. Our utensils feature a choke protection shield to add a layer of safety while your little one builds confidence in self-feeding. Our utensils are the perfect learning tool for baby led weaning and beyond! Use the included travel case to bring your utensils on the go.
WHY WE MADE THIS
Maya, our founder, created grabease utensils to fill a void in the world of baby feeding products. As she watched her own baby struggle to self-feed with toddler spoons and forks, she envisioned utensils made for babies to use themselves. Thus, grabease was born!
Our grabease utensils are dishwasher safe (top rack only), and are BPA-free, phthalate-free, lead and pvc-free. They are FDA-tested safe and are rigorously tested to ensure CPSIA and EU compliance. Grabease utensils are perfect for babies 6 months and up!
- Dishwasher Safe
- Hand wash
Scooping is hard. Start with working on hand mouth connection by preloading the grabease fork and spoon with food for your lil one.
BABY SEE, BABY DO
Place utensils preloaded on your lil one’s table and don’t try to hand it to them. Sit next to them and eat something using your own utensils. These little curious creatures will most likely reach out to the utensils on their own and start exploring. Give them time!
LET THEM BE MESSY
Children explore through touching. Mashing food supports their sensory development.
Let them play with their food. You can engage with them by asking if the food feels good, is it also yummy?
My grand son is still a little young for them but he's getting close to being able to use them!
Easier for little ones to grasp without the fear a the utensil going to far down their throats.
Sent a set to my grandson in the Christmas box, my daughter said they are great! He could eat angel pasta and it stayed on the fork !! More on the fork, less on the floor :)
Great for little ones. Easy to catch on using utensils. Better than eating with fingers. Very happy with product.
These are the perfect size and shape for babies to learn how to self feed and gain more independence! I used them in a daycare setting and they were a HIT with all 5 of my 12-18 month olds. We will definitely use these going forward for our 12-18 month old classroom!
