"We have been on a bit of a sorbet kick lately. With the summer heat, and all sorts of fresh fruit on hand- it just makes sense! ☀️
We love sorbet because it’s so easy to make, perfect for the littles and adults AND is something almost everyone can love because it has such minimal ingredients! Yay and yum! 🎉 #allergenfriendly
WHAT YOU NEED:
3 cups raspberries
2 tbsp raw honey (no honey for babies under 1; sub pure maple syrup)
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp water or more (as/if needed)
HOW YOU MAKE IT:
🍨 Lay fresh raspberries out on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in freezer
🍨 Freeze berries until completely frozen/solid (4+ hours)
🍨 Place frozen berries, honey (or syrup) and lemon juice in a high-powered blender (we use a @vitamix) and pulse/blend until smooth.
🍨 Add water as needed if mixture is too thick to blend.
🍨 Transfer mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze at least 4 hours until completely firm.
🍨 Then scoop and enjoy!"
